6G-DATADRIVEN Synchronization Meeting

On April 19, a synchronization meeting of the 6G-DATADRIVEN project took place at the Leganés Campus of the Carlos III University (UC3M), with the aim of establishing synergies and knowing how each entity contributes to the overall objectives of the project.

First, Carlos Jesús Bernardos, project coordinator, presented the vision and role of UC3M, in charge of administrative coordination, technical coordination, technical contributions and communication and dissemination tasks of the project.

Subsequently, each of the collaborating entities (Ericsson, Telefónica, Telcaria, ABB, Capgemini) presented their work team and the subprojects in which they are involved with a summary of the topics addressed.

The topics in which new developments will be made were presented, as well as the expected results. In addition, each company detailed the experimentation requirements to be taken into account for the 5TONIC laboratory (open research and innovation laboratory on 5G technologies founded by Telefónica and IMDEA Networks), with the aim of facilitating coordination.

The meeting ended with the focus on collaboration opportunities for the different members, suggestions and next steps to be taken.
