6G-DATADRIVEN-04 presents its progress on deterministic networks at the DetNet–TSN Workshop

On July 26, 2025, Prof. Carlos J. Bernardos (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), coordinator of the 6G-DATADRIVEN-04 project, participated as a speaker at the DetNet – TSN Workshop, DetNet – TSN Workshop, held during IETF 123 and the IEEE 802 Plenary at the Meliá Castilla Hotel in Madrid.
During his presentation, titled “Enabling DetNet Multi-Domain: Some Results, Lessons Learned and Future Work Items from Collaborative Projects”, he shared some of the progress achieved within the 6G-DATADRIVEN-04, PREDICT-6G, and DESIRE6G projects, highlighting the challenges and opportunities involved in implementing deterministic networks in multi-domain environments.
The talk focused on the analysis of a practical demonstration involving industrial applications, highlighting how technologies such as Wi-Fi TSN, Ethernet TSN, and 5G TSN can be integrated in a coordinated manner to deliver reliable, synchronized, and real-time communications.
This participation reinforces the presence of 6G-DATADRIVEN-04 in leading international technical forums, actively contributing to the definition of key architectures and solutions for future 6G networks.
